This historic 1958 motel truly stands out with its charming décor and well-preserved architecture. My room felt newly remodeled with a comfy bed and nice shower, perfect for a quick stay. The breakfast selection exceeded my expectations for this type of motel, making it a great start to the day. The snack bag provided at checkout was a thoughtful touch, adding a personal feel to the experience. However, I did encounter cleanliness issues. the sheets and towels had stains, and I found hairs left behind from previous guests, which was quite disappointing. Despite these issues, the location within walking distance to downtown was convenient, and the staff were nice.

walking distance to downtown, refrigerator in room
The bathroom seriously lacked cleanliness with residual hairs from previous guests!!! The noticeable stains on towels were quite off-putting!!! A $3 credit card fee upon arrival felt unnecessarily misleading!!!

Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown, the Queen room featured a fridge, perfect for snacks. The workers were genuinely nice and welcoming throughout my two-night stay, making me feel at home. However, cleanliness issues were noticeable, as some areas appeared less maintained, including a somewhat untidy staircase. Additionally, the overall ambiance felt a bit outdated, which detracted from the overall experience.
